Temperature Sensors: PRT's and Thermistor-Sensors

Temperature sensors can be used to measure, calibrate and monitor temperature sources in laboratories, workshops or in the field,  as well as in freezers and ovens. We offer versatile Platinum Resistance Thermometers (PRTs) from Fluke, and various thermistor probes. We offer a wide product range from secondary and industrial PRTs to thermistor standards and secondary thermistor sensors.

Precise Temperature Sensors for Reference Temperature Measurements

For reference temperature measurements with high accuracy, we offer, for example, the PRTs 5606 with transition connection for complete immersion in freezers and ovens. The respective transition and the supply pipes are designed for resistance over the entire temperature range of the sensors. The measuring range is between -200°C and 160°C – the calibration accuracy is in the entire range +/- 0.05°C. Another stable temperature sensor is the secondary reference PRT 5608. It is a +/- 7 mk probe at the triple point of water. With a diameter of 3.18 mm, it provides accurate measurements from -200°C to 500°C with an immersion depth of only 80 mm. It also has an Inconel-sheathing for high accuracy over a wide temperature range.

Secondary Thermistors: Reference Sensors for accurate Laboratory Applications

For laboratory applications with high accuracy and low drift rates, the secondary reference thermistor sensors 5610, 5611 and 5611T are suitable. They provide a short-term accuracy up to +/- 0.01°C as well as a one-year drift of less than +/- 0.01°C. The Thermistor 5610 is equipped with a stainless steel sheathing that is ideal for measurements in the air, in liquids and in the ground. The 5611 is silicon coated and has a 1.5 mm diameter at the tip. The 5611T is a Teflon-coated thermistor with a 3 mm tip, which is impermeable to most fluids and allows applications in the biopharmaceutical field.
